Exploring the ins and outs of friendship including the complicated relationships that develop when women work together or live together in families. In this presentation full of delightful and funny stories, Gracie draws upon her many experiences as mentor and friend to other women. Gracie’s favorite subject! And she covers it thoroughly, from the actual meaning of the word to the practical implications of grace in everyday life. His grace really is sufficient—no matter what.
MUDSLIDE AND MOUNTAINTOP
Gracie’s gift of teaching literally “comes into play” as she speaks from the book of Habakkuk—her insights meaningful, her presentation lighthearted and funny. Gracie said, “This Old Testament prophet with a funny name faced the same kind of problems we deal with today. He had his share of doubts, fears, questions and victories. We need faith in the midst of face-down-in-the-mud circumstances, or when leaping on the mountaintops.”
BECAUSE I’M A WOMAN, THAT’S WHY!
Recognizing the tendencies of women to emote through their world, Gracie emphasizes the importance of thinking it through instead of feeling it through. When we let our emotions control us, we get into all kinds of messes. She helps women get a handle on their “Messy Moods” (depression), “Messy Mads” (anger), and “Messy Misgivings” (anxiety and fears).

This encouraging and humorous program helps “chicken hearted” women spread their wings and fly to a higher roost by becoming more confident in five key areas— facing the future, handling relationships, resting in God’s love, overcoming obstacles, using gifts and talents.

This presentation, full of humorous and thought provoking stories, encourages women to think positively. It focuses on the promise of Philippians 4:6-7, God’s peace “that transcends human understanding, will keep constant guard over your hearts.”

Gracie offers practical and humorous solutions to help us get along better in long-term relationships. She says, “God created us with unique personalities, gave us different spiritual gifts, brought us together from varied backgrounds, and then told us to have unity. He must have a great sense of humor.”
GRANDMAS ROCK
Gracie talks about the joys and challenges of being matriarch of the family in our culture where we are more likely in the gym than a rocking chair. She includes activities, games to play and talks to have with our grandkids. Her stories are peppered with humor and inspiration similar to that in her well-known books "Off My Rocker" and "Kisses of Sunshine for Grandmas."
